Distribution and Ordering

Idil Biret's Beethoven recordings are now being distributed and sold in Germany by Albert Schallplattenversand, Hamburg.
Presently these include all the five Piano Concertos and the Choral Fantasia in a box set of three CDs and all the CDs from the complete Sonatas' recordings released so far as well as all the live-recordings of the BMP-series with the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra.

Biret's recordings of the nine Beethoven Symphonies in the Liszt transcription (originally issued by EMI in 1986 in a 6 LP set) have been released on January 6, 2004, in a box set of 6 CDs.

Mr. Albert is known as a distributor and seller for more than 20 years now and he has built up an established clientele not only in Germany but also in Europe and the United States.
He is able to offer his customers most of the recordings available worldwide, also those which are not distributed by major online-stores.

Among others Mr. Albert has introduced the French label «Tahra» onto the German market and he has just been assigned the distributor for the English label «Concert Artists». This new catalogue does not only comprise several new recordings by known and less known artists, but also rare historical transfers in excellent quality  (e.g. Chopin recitals by Raoul von Koczalksi).
